Speaking of her parents, Alex is lucky because she was born into an athletic family. Her parents, Mike and Reza, were involved in sports during their youth.
She is currently the chief financial officer of Globe Telecom, and her mother, Rizza, won a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke event at the 1985 Southeast Asian Games.
Furthermore, Alex is the niece of the late Noli Ayala, Commissioner of the Philippine Basketball Association. Similarly, her brother Michael (Miko) Ayala is a young professional tennis player who plays at Penn State University in the United States.
At the Lousada Junior Cup II in Portugal in 2020, Miko took the doubles title. Similarly, he won the 2019 Hellenic Bank Masters Tennis Academy competition in Cyprus. Furthermore, Miko took the boys’ singles title at the 2018 CPSP-Philta International Junior Tennis Championships, rising to the 98th position in the ITF junior world rankings.
