Geraldo Rivera has been rumored to have multiple sclerosis (MS) since he was seen using a cane. However, these are completely unfounded as there is no evidence to support these hoaxes.
Distractify reports that Giraldo has never explained why he walked with a cane, but it may be because the medical treatment he undertook over a decade ago failed.
Before he fell under the malicious influence of a trio of fringe advisers, President Trump told me on November 13, 2020 that he was “a realist” and “will do the right thing.” I assumed he meant he would abdicate if there was clear evidence of his loss.
Instead, it led us to a constitutional crisis– Geraldo Rivera (@GeraldoRivera) 12 July 2022
In 2010, the Fox News character traveled to the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, New York, for back surgery.
When he woke up, he learned that the surgery had gone bad and his right foot was badly damaged, the New York Malpractice and Injury Lawyer Blog reported.
He was unable to “run, play tennis, skate, or even keep up with his 10-year-old daughter” after the operation. Naturally, Giraldo sued the hospital, claiming negligence during the procedure caused his foot to stop working properly.
He filed a lawsuit in New York, and the hospital categorically denied any misconduct in the matter.
They claimed that Giraldo’s foot injury was caused by hitting his foot in the refrigerator while he was undergoing rehabilitation, and not by surgery on his back.
However, on New Year’s Eve 2013, Giraldo underwent surgery to try to correct his foot problems. Not much has been said about the incident in the years since.
