Verdict: Danielle Redlick Husband Michael Redlick Occupation and Kids

Danielle Redlick, a Florida woman accused of stabbing her husband, Michael Redlick, a UCF Executive, to death, recently testified in the court that she killed Michael in self-defense.

Danielle testified in Orlando on Tuesday morning for the first time since brutally stabbing her husband, saying she never intended to kill Michael Redlick, her partner of over two decades and her stepfather before that.

Instead, Redlick claims she stabbed her husband in self-defense on Jan. 11, 2019, when he tried to “smother her to death” at their Florida home, with her head trapped against the kitchen counter and his hand clutching her nose and mouth.

She said that the only way she was able to free herself from her husband’s clutches was to stab him in the shoulder with a kitchen knife, which caused him to become disoriented long enough for her to flee.

Danielle Relick, a Florida woman, has been charged with second-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the murder of her husband, Michael Redlick, 65. The couple had an 18-year-old daughter named Jadyn Redlick.

Michael was the director of external affairs and partnership relations at the DeVos Sport Business Management Graduate Program at the University of Central Florida.

The daughter of Michael and #DanielleRedlick testified again Thursday, saying that she never saw any “unexplained” scratches or injuries on her mother.

Redlick initially informed authorities that her spouse had died of a heart attack. Then she said that after a violent fight in their house in January 2019, he stabbed himself to death with a kitchen knife.

Danielle Redlick Children: Daughter Testimony

Jadyn Redlick, the couple’s now-18-year-old daughter, testified for the prosecution on Monday, saying that her parents were having troubles before her father died.

According to, Jadyn testified that her father walked out of the family home in April 2018, but returned six months later, furious that the family wasn’t living together.

According to the site, “I remember particular moments when he would come over and bring her flowers and other presents when they weren’t living together.”

She thought her parents were getting along better until she saw them arguing before leaving the house the night before he died. Jadyn stated her mother forewarned her that the night would be tumultuous.

Danielle Redlick Case Update

Danielle, the woman accused of murdering her husband in their Winter Park home in 2019, testified in her murder trial on Tuesday.

Michael Redick died from a lethal stab to the left shoulder, according to the medical examiner. He did not have a heart attack or commit suicide. The stab wound was so deep that it perforated his lung and damaged an artery.

Danielle Redlick had repeatedly told people that Michael Redlick had stabbed himself in the argument, and that, despite the defendant’s claims that she was in danger that evening.

No one saw bruises on her in the hours after Michael Redlick’s body was discovered, according to previous testimony in the case from first responders.
