Mason and Dawn have been married for 39 years. The couple celebrated their 39th anniversary on July 17. The physician joined Chattermouth Podcast, where they discussed how they met, fell in love, and created a wonderful life together.
Even Mason revealed what lured him to Dawn. Dawn was the one who convinced the physician to take their relationship to the next level. When the pair were younger, they went to clubs, dance, and disco.
According to Mason, when he first saw Dawn, it was love at first site. The physician attended the singles weekend with his friend in the Catskills, New York, at Grossinger hotel, and her wife joined alongside her friend. They participated in Saturday night activities, including dating games.
At the game, they had one bachelorette interviewing the other three Bachelors. Dawn asked the bachelorette how they would essentially lick an ice cream cone. He felt the girl is pretty but bold and provocative for him to bring home. However, she chooses Mason’s friend as a bachelor.
After the game show, the physician friend has introduced to his date, and he realizes she is not bold. Six months later, the same sponsored throw dance at Copacabana in New York City, and they met again after a long time. Although she didn’t recognize him, she waved back nicely.
Afterward, they talked and took her to the next spot. Like them, their daughter Cher had a similar story about their dating. Since then, they began dating. She even lied to him after they engaged. Perhaps, after six months, the couple tied the knot on July 16, 1983. They had a beautiful daughter Cher Hubsher Gopman.
The couple had different hobbies, and they loved to see them happy with what they were doing and talk about it together. They always had a launch date and talked about the morning schedule, like routine.
Dawn had suggested ballroom and competition, and they loved to do that. Even the physician had taken tap dance lessons several years ago.
