As a college student, Jesse Wolfe founded O Dang Hummus, a series of chickpea sauces served in salad dressing bottles.
Laurie Greiner and Robert Herjavec awarded him a contract when he introduced his company on Shark Tank while wearing a T-shirt that read, “It’s hummus if you haven’t tried our hummus.”
Wolf believes that everyone should love hummus because they love hummus. But he was surprised it was being liquefied given that chickpeas can be used as a pickle, a dip, or even as a substitute for salad dressing.

The startup was valued at $250,000 after the agreement between the owner, Jesse, and two sharks, Laurie Greiner and Robert Herjavec. But the company’s net worth has increased significantly as a result of its profitable operations and sales.
O’Dang Hummus is still thriving in 2022. Greek tzatziki, lemon tsarina, honey mustard, chickpeas, traditional Mediterranean, balsamic feta, garden herb plantation, and roasted red peppers are just a few of the vegan-free plants. The gluten, egg, and non-GMO dressings they make.

Jesse asked for $50,000 for 10% of his business. He confirms that chickpeas were produced 900 years ago and preserved their flavor.
He claims that Mark’s samples are adored by sharks: “The black bean hummus is the thing! Sabra, which holds the majority of the market share, is cited by Jesse as evidence that O’Dang bridges the racial divide in the hummus market.”
The entrepreneur then showcases packaged chickpea sauce, which is free of dairy, corn syrup, gluten and made entirely from organic ingredients. Wolf just had a second meeting with Publix and guaranteed them $1.3 million in sales if they joined him.
So far he has accidentally sold O Dang for $70K and will get 40% off at Publix. He successfully tricked his Facebook fans and crashed Publix’s website for the first time.
Although he didn’t have any food products in his Shark Tank portfolio and claimed to be upset with Kevin and Barbara’s success in the food industry, he gave Robert $50,000 for 15% of the company.
Kevin offered $50,000 for 20% in return. Laurie agrees to work with Robert in a partnership for $50,000 for a 25% stake when Jesse asks her to do so. Jesse offered Laurie and Robert $50 for the remaining 20%, and they accepted his offer. Despite Mark’s objections, he ended the deal with Laurie and Robert and shouted “Done.”
As described earlier, as of June 2022, the products were still on the sites. Lifetime sales are currently $3.9 million.
Osh, Walmart order hummus
Just two years after the show aired, Jesse Wolff negotiated a deal with Walmart, which agreed to stock hummus dressings in 2,000 stores.
It’s part of Walmart’s commitment to spending $250 billion on products that support American employment, according to a Walmart representative. If anything, Jesse didn’t really plan on traveling so quickly.
Despite the fact that he’s previously worked with Whole Foods and Publix (whose dressings are currently on display in 70 New York City stores, 13 in Los Angeles, and 7 in Detroit), they’re pretty small compared to Walmart’s ranking.
