Marion Barber Died From Heart Stroke
Heart stroke was the cause of Marion Barber’s death when he was found dead inside his Frisco, Texas, residence on June 1.
Authorities were called to the scene after a neighbor spotted water pouring from Barber’s apartment, according to a Frisco police incident report obtained by USA Today.
According to the medical report, when police arrived at Barber’s apartment, the bathtub faucet was running and the thermostat was set to 91 degrees. Police also found exercise equipment inside the apartment.
Barber’s father Marion Barber II told the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram in June that his son had likely passed away days before being found because his corpse had already started to deteriorate when police arrived.
The police report states that before his death was discovered, Barber had not spoken to his family in six days.
